Call Care
Call Care is a FREE web-based statistics service
that allows you to manage and monitor call traffic to your
Non-Geographic Numbers. This includes checking and changing the
terminating numbers for each NGN, monitoring the calls received in 'near
real-time' and analysing inbound call patterns for your NGNs and terminating
numbers.
Call Care provides 'near real-time' statistical
information, updating every 15 minutes, so you get the latest
information when you need it and can respond immediately. It is viewed
like an ordinary website, with a simple user interface that's quick and easy
to use.
This service is included free for all customers
obtaining a Non-Geographic Number from Utilities Solutions. You
access the service via secure dial-up connection with a modem or ISDN which
is charged at national rate. Customers wishing to use their own ISP to
access the site may optionally purchase a secured certificate at a charge of £4.00 per
month on request. This is to ensure the security of the data held on
the network.
Replay
Replay is a network-based voice recording service
that is located directly within the national network. It has the
capacity to automatically record the conversation of the two parties and
store it for later retrieval. Replay can be used for inbound and
outbound calls and is charged at a set rate per minute of recording.
The recordings are stored for 28 days and then archived.

Auto Attendant
Auto Attendant is a call answering service
that helps you to manage inbound calls to your NGNs. You have the
ability to record your own messages and prompts to control your traffic flow
on an ongoing basis. This is especially useful for call centres or for
multi-site companies that need to direct different types of customer to
different locations.

Queue Manager
Queue Manager provides a customisable system to
manage traffic flows when the inbound traffic exceeds the available
resources to answer calls. Calls are answered automatically and
held on the network until the destination is free or the maximum wait time
has been exceeded. The prompts and music can also be customised to
suit your business and Queue Manager Statistics are also available through
Call Care.

Routing Plans
You can also set up your NGNs based on the
location of the caller. The country can be divided into different
regions and each can have its own corresponding terminating number. A
default can also be set when the location can not be determined, such as
from mobile phones. There are the following standard plans available
as well as bespoke solutions on request:
- 4 Area Plan - England, Scotland, Northern
Ireland and Wales.
- 10 Area Plan - Splits England up into 7
regions as well as Scotland, Northern Ireland and Wales.
- 96 Area Plan - Broadly based on the
counties of britain but also included major towns and cities.
- Terrestrial TV Plan - Based upon the
Independent TV Regions such as Granada, Grampian or Carlton.
The 4 and 10 area plans can be set up free of
charge, although minimum service thresholds apply. These plans can
also be self-modified via Call Care.
The 96 and TV Region plans both have a set up fee
and minimum service thresholds, and can be modified to fir your
requirements.
